We are happy to have joined the Palliative Care Federation

From today the Casa Marta ETS Foundation officially becomes a member of the Palliative Care Federation: an important step which makes us proud to have become part of an increasingly numerous solidarity network.

Being members of the Palliative Care Federation will allow us to be able to dialogue and discuss in a more in-depth and informed way with the many other entities that share our values and objectives to protect the right of access to palliative care. By working together, we aim for a future in which pediatric palliative care is accessible to all who qualify, offering the highest level of care and comfort.

This synergy will allow us to network, access new resources and participate in high-level training and information events and reach new goals.

Together we can do more

A new chapter for the Casa Marta ETS Foundation.

Together with the Palliative Care Federation we aim to contribute to correct dissemination and awareness, through a direct exchange of news and information useful for improving the quality of the services that will be offered, both in home care and in residential facilities and to protect the rights of citizens and the application of the relevant regulations.

Joining a network like the Palliative Care Federation allows us to access resources and documentation in the field of palliative care, through sharing knowledge and skills, we can develop new approaches, improve existing protocols and offer ongoing training to our healthcare workers, participate to research and development projects, so that we can increase our ability to respond to the complex needs of pediatric patients and their families.

La Federazione Cure Palliative Onlus

The Onlus Palliative Care Federation was founded as a 2nd level organization on the initiative of 22 Non-Profit Organizations (NPOs) already active for years in the palliative care sector, with the common need to create an entity that could understand the needs and problems of NPOs active in the area and act as a conduit with a single authoritative voice.

FCP therefore represents a good example of aggregation and synergy of different forces aimed at common objectives. Its members are not natural persons but Non-Profit Organizations (Associations, Foundations, etc.) spread throughout the national territory: to date the Federation brings together 102 NPOs among its members, in which over 5000 volunteers operate throughout Italy committed daily to different title in the vast field of palliative care, assistance to patients and their families.

Federation makes use of Regional Coordinations to facilitate dialogue and coordinate activities between the various stakeholders and subjects active in Palliative Care in the various territories.
